Starting in 2010, UH GAP will hold elections to become a UH GAP Board Member. Elections are open to individuals who feel a connection with the UH Graphic Communications Program and are willing to dedicate time and energy into growing UH GAP. An announcement will be made at the Senior Show After Party (May 6, 2010) about open positions on the board. Nominations will be accepted for 15 day after the event. Elections will be held online starting June 1 and will end on July 15. New board members will be announced at the UH GAP Main Event. New Board Members duties will start with the UHGAP Winter Board Meeting.

Board members are expected to:
- Attend UH GAP Board meetings (once per quarter)
- Attend UH GAP events (After Party, Main Event…)
- Promptly perform tasks assigned
- Maintain a position of responsibility (communications, secretary, outreach…)
